I’m looking forward to catching up with my good friend and colleague Michael Penny at his charming store, Penny & Co. in Whitby, Ontario. You may know Michael from his regular appearances on CTV’s Marilyn and in all of our favourite magazines - Chatelaine, Style at Home and H&H. Michael is a busy guy and tons of fun. For the 2nd year in a row, I will be participating in Toronto’s 12 Trees of Christmas Event at the Gardiner Museum. This year’s theme is Around the World and my tree is inspired by India!

I will be attending the Western Living Designers of the Year Awards held at the Salt building in Olympic Village, Thursday, September 13th. It’s an award presentation honouring the Best of the West in Interiors, Architecture, Furniture, Industrial, Fashion, Eco and Landscape. It should be a great night! Check out the Western Living website to see the list of finalists and after the 13th - the winners! Good luck everyone!

I’m excited to be a part of a fabulous charitable event hosted at Designer’s Walk on Thursday March 8th. In support of the Canadian Women’s Foundation, this event proves to be a wonderful evening of fun, friendship and decorating - what a great combination! The event takes place in both the Kravet and Lee Jofa showrooms where there will be ideas for home entertaining, fine wine, great food, a silent auction, a raffle and much more. Come chat with myself, Candice Olson, Sarah Richardson, Kimberley Seldon, Virginie Martocq and Heather Richards both of Chatelaine, who will all be in attendance.
